ARE YOU GONNA BUY IT NO MATTER WHAT

hi folks
after a quick chek on several post
my simple question.

date of production = not confirmed 100%
final front design of the production FT = not confirmed 100%
engine cc ,force induction, etcetc= not confirmed 100%

in resume THE CAR WONT BE UGLY THATS FOR SURE ,WONT BE UNRELIABLE;THE CAR WONT GIVE YOU MILES PER GALLON AS A ROTARY FOR SURE.
WILL BE A 7/10 car AT LEAST

no matter what the car looks, behave, feel, consume, etcetcetc

WILL YOU BUY IT
YES OR NO.

ichitaka05 02-07-2011 07:55 PM

NO! Not at this state. We have only few info. Until I see the final ver and actually test drive it, my answer is "No"

cyde01 02-07-2011 09:08 PM

no. need more info.

Siriusly.Andrew 02-07-2011 09:26 PM

with ^ and ^

Need to know more, and test drive it before I can make an "informed" decision.

I'll buy the best car for the money. I'm just hoping this one will be it. Toyota gets maybe a $1000 headstart in brand loyalty, rose-colored glasses, like-local-dealership, etc. That' it.

serchmarc 02-08-2011 12:59 AM

NO dont care what numbers, specs or magazine editors comments i cant buy what i cant test drive

70NYD 02-08-2011 01:39 AM

We have been waiting for this car for ages.. The truth is I have a preconceived expectation on what to expect from drivetrain and agility. If it's not as good as my 8 (mainly terms of power vs economy vs weight vs handling)I won't but it.. Instead il keep my current car or get the next rotary from Mazda. Let's face it, this car shouldn't be about economy at the cost of performance. If you want economy buy a yarris. But IF the engine can be tuned out to utter performance from just ecu and intake/exhaust meaning a reasonable cost, well that's a different story only time will tell

Dimman 02-08-2011 02:09 AM

Even if it is everything I imagine it will be in a test-drive, I'll probably wait an extra year and watch for any first-year kinks that may appear.

(Congratulations on your first semi-relevant posts...)

IS3_FTW 02-08-2011 02:48 AM

I will have to say no for now, to many concepts and which badge its gonna represent
There is so much hear say, it has me confused.

R_E_L 02-08-2011 03:11 AM

OMG YES UNDER ONE CONDITION: THE MSRP IS $1. THEN YES I WILL BUY IT NO MATTER WHAT, EVEN IF I AM FOLLOWED BY FLOWING RAINBOWS AND PRANCING UNICORNS WHEREVER I DRIVE.

OH WAIT I GUESS IF I ADD A CONDITION THEN I GUESS THAT NULLIFIES MY STATEMENT... CRAP. i guess not then.

umm if thats what anyone ever thought all we would drive is yaris' and camrys, and landcruiser(yea just alil slanted towards toyota) and they will literally be boxes on wheels.

i dont think anyone can say that they will dfinately buy anything without trying it 1st

and i guarentee if this car turns out to be ugly, thats about 80% of the forum that will not even go and test drive it.

linkwpc 02-08-2011 10:07 AM

Nope, I need to see the whole car. Plus for me, it needs to be a subaru in order for me to buy it.
