Women..."That's a cute little car"

Men...usually nothing. If they say something at all it's..."nice car"

And if they question what it is...I must explain too much detail for most of them to pay attention to. Me: Well it's a Scion FRS, also known as a Subaru BRZ, a joint venture between both companies, actually it has a Subaru drivetrain.

They usually lose interest at that point. Yet today, I was asked: "It must be four wheel drive then?". Now I've gotta explain more details. Me: No it's a rear wheel drive car. And if I think they have any at all car knowledge, I say, With a Torsen rear differential. That usually shuts up their questions for good.

160's whp.

Why didn't you get a Civic?

Is it faster than a Corvette?

If it was that much, why didn't you buy a mustang?

Why does the mpg suck?

Why didn't you buy a Cameeeeerooooowww they look the same, no?

Nice Mazda!

Why don't you drift?

Wanna race?

I can get one for like $12k (true btw)

When you accelerate, it sounds like your engine is about to blow up. Why?

Is it broken? Or why does it make those sounds?

I would have gotten the STI version. Why didn't you?

If its a Subaroooo why didn't you get a WRX or STI?

Why is it so slow?

Why do you only speed on highway entrances?

Why do you smile when you are driving?

I'll trade you for a old wrangler, civic, accord, mustang.

If it takes premium why is it slow?

Why is it slow when you accelerate?

Why does it creak so much?

Me: why don't you stfu?

That is the presumptive equivalent to people I have known my whole life saying "mid life crisis car?" Did they not notice it fits right in with many I had?
