The ride quality is great on smooth roads, my city unfortunately doesn't seem to make maintaining smooth roads a high priority.

The electric company also decided to dig 3 foot wide trenches in the alley I use to access my parking lot at work, and only fill them halfway full of gravel so that is interesting to navigate daily.

You definitely have a point! I care for my car plenty but it doesn't mean I can't care for another car especially if upgrading

On a side note, I enjoy the ride quality and don't mind the interior noise which is why I'm in no rush to replace the car. Just something
I foresee as there are other cars that I eventually want to consider.

I expected as much, idk the statistics but I can almost assume you're in the minority for paying it off first. I'd personally never trade with negative equity considering I'm in the car business and i've never seen the situation look pretty.

Unfortunately I'm a little biased and still wish I got the WRB BRZ if I was to go longer term but don't see myself switching anytime soon (maybe I'd switch later to a well built BRZ and reconsider but not 1 year into the car)

I'd like to say dedicated track car with a more luxuary sports car for the daily grind... however If I go with a dedicated track-only car I'm not so certain the BRZ will be my choice over a few vintage chassis I hold dear...

But, who know's I may wrap it around a tree or more likely succumb to someone else on the road with a cell phone glued to their stupid face. :/

Once paid off keep it looking show room spotless, maintain it and continue to drive it's tits off. I average 7500km a year so I'll have plenty of options down the line to use its equity to trade for a BRZ STI. That's about the only hypothetical car I'd trade for given my current level of high satisfaction.

As for the ride. The MY15 stock suspension is actually surprisingly comfortable assuming I religiously maintain the recommended 35psi in the tires.

I'll keep it until I've saved enough to get another car and decide it's time. I'm hoping to possibly have more car-space by that time and keep it as #becauseracecar but the truth is I also really want to drive other cars to improve myself. I've been looking at s2000's, miata's and Sti Hatches a lot.

Then again, I love this car a lot and it's only been three years, so we'll see. I'd love to DD an Sti, race the BRZ and have a Miata project in the garage.

Edit: I just made my last payment in February. Title arrived last week.

I'm most likely going to get another 3-lettered Subaru in addition to keeping the BRZ

For myself, or for the car?

For the car: Plan is to drive it to the ground. Unless something catastrophic happens, I'm keeping it.

For myself: What am I going to do with all this extra cash money??
- Hookers and blow
- Boost retirement funds
- Save for next car/house
- Hookers and blow

I plan on keeping this car for the long term. So right after paying it off I'll get an Edelbrock SC or whichever is the most reliable at that moment to complement the full exhaust and tune I'll be living with for now.

I'll then phase it out from being my daily and look into getting better driving lessons and tracking it. I'll sell my current backup older passat and get whatever my family size requires at the moment for daily use... which I can only hope translates into a nicer sports car

Dreams and Plans.. how quickly they change...

Bought it straight cash, son; it is paid off. Plan? Leave it the heck alone because I'll just ruin it and enjoy it. So far so good.
