There is a DIY involving the driver side floor mat only which I cannot find at the moment. It is definitely not as nice looking as some of the options shown here and will not prevent dirt and mud, what it IS meant for is to be cheap, easy to install, and prevent wear from foot heels.

The set involves:

small 5in.x6in. rubber mats from home depot/lowes.
vecro or some other adhesive to attach the mats to the floor mat

win...

Just wanted to throw that option in since I was thinking of doing this soon in mine.

Although not 100% identical, it's close enough:

Although the generic 3D ones posted above are nice, I still much prefer the K2 ones. Any vendor have any luck getting in touch with them about this?

Question

Are these available now for LHD?

I came across some K2 Gear brand that look great in black carbon pattern look with the matching red stitching (probably custom made for K2 Gear by 3D), however, these are RHD only. I inquired to the U.S. distributor (U-Ace) for 3D Designs and they said they have nothing that looks like the K2 Gear black/red one for sale in LHD. The only comparable mats they have were the 3D Design in standard carpet type (vs. the rubber "Kagu").

Would anyone be interested in joining an inquiry pool to 3D/U-Ace to see if they can make something like this if a GB was created?

Bump. I have contacted Garage88 to see if a LHD version will be made available.
I am starting to get mild carpet wear with my stock rubber mats.

Update: I received a response from Garage88 stating K2 is looking into producing a LHD version.

That set is not a universal but made to fit our car. I have a 15' and fits perfect but somebody with a 16' on Amazon posted that it was not an exact fit. Not sure about that as I don't think anything changed inside on the floor from 2015 to 2016. Actually just looked inside my car and it's the same exact fit that guy with the 2016 is complaining about. So in other words, it will fit any year frs and what he is talking about is REALLY nitpicking. I just have the front set as the back is never used but that was one of the best things I've spent money on for the car. I am 100% satisfied.

Such question - how thick vs stock these rear mats are? Noticed, that it wouldn't be THAT bad with someone sitting in back, if legs could be put deeper below front seats, so that knee is against back of front seats. But due seats being very low, passenger seat hight non adjustable, and hard to put feet for passengers in rear under front seats have to be moved more to front, limiting lot of space for seated in front, then they could have been. Hence the question about thickness ..
