Hi guys/gals, I know this has probably been covered but I can't find a proper answer. Have tried searching a few times to no avail.

Does this head unit work with an iPhone (6s) for Bluetooth audio streaming and hands free calling?

Not too fussed about usb connection as I have a 12v charger already.

Thanks in advanced for any help.

Also in case you didn't know, you can run the wire from the trunk lining to the inside of the car through that rubber grommet on the left of your first picture.
this was installed on a rush for testing. I have wires running through that grommet from when I had backup tag lights.

Maybe in misunderstanding but aren't the two lights the same? Can't see you having better luck in the other side. This is a Siamese RCA so probably just too thick...

Yea I think some of what I said wasn't clear my bad. Here's a pic of mine (sorry for quality, was in a rush).

But you can see the size of my wire and where it travels. I didn't have to cut or drill anything. I just popped the license plate light out, ran the wire and popped the light back in. Like I said it's possible your wire is too big and u may have to cut some of the plastic light housing or drill

Looks good. How did you mount? Tape? Any problem having it off to side rather than exact middle? I find having in center helps me center car in spot.

The camera came with 3M tape it's stuck on pretty good with that. Been through many car washes and heavy rain/snow without signs of coming loose. It's been over 2 years since the install.

I didn't have the option of mounting in the middle of the trunk since I have BRZ Limited which has the keyless trunk button in the middle.

Just bought one of these off someone 2nd hand, didn't get the wiring harness for toyota as they bought it for a nissan..
I'm not very familiar with wires, stereos and whatnot..
How do I go about getting the wiring harness for it? can I go to any audio store and ask them, or does it specifically have to be one for Cafi to match ?

SWC Issue

Hi guys, I've never really connected SWC, but I am having a weird and really bad problem.

I was playing a bit with cafi and i opened up the SWC application at one point. It was showing that key #0 was always getting tapped and that was pointing to volume increase. All of a sudden, the unit volume was going up and i couldn't stop it !

I eventually switched the hotkey to volume down, but it always decreases my volume automatically even when on the home screen. Looks like it things that key 0 of SWC is always getting pressed for some reason.

The problem is that there's not an option not to bind that #0 key to anything. And so, I pretty much don't know how to fix that. I was looking of ways to disable SWC but can't see anything.

Did anybody else have that ? Doesn't get fixed on reboot. I'm really on the verge of factory resetting and hoping that would work

Had same problem twice. Factory reset was only solution.

You should be able to buy a harness at the store. I bough mine on amazon.

Yup, I also had this issue twice, except my volume went up to max, not down.

I ended up doing a factory reset, but I also found that a wire in my harness was connecting IIRC, the cars illumination wire to the Ca-fi's SWC wire. Removing that was the more permanent fix.

Same here. Just removed the connection to the SWC and all was fixed.
