KAs were known to be "truck engines" because it was a new-for-1988 design based on the Z24 engine, mostly found in 1980s Nissan trucks.

Most people just see identical 2.4L displacement and stop there...

Actually.... the Z engine was in cars before trucks.

Z series was in passenger cars, yes. Z24 was mostly found in trucks.

Yeah yeah, you are right. I've been working on 240's since 04. It's kinda hard to not get into that argument every time.
