Went fishing this morning at Mayer State Park. Didn't catch anything, so I decided to go tear up the Rowena Loops. Nobody else on the road, not even bicyclists! Well, except some deer and wild turkey; so I had to take it slow, but that was after I got to the crest already. Group session next time??

Love Rowena Loops, Love The Gorge and Love the Historic Highway. If there is ever a group drive, I hope it would be a time that would work with my schedule so I could go. I'll be watching for an event.

I definitely want this to happen this summer! Last year when we did the hood river cruise, I had to leave early and never got to see the loops

Definitely don't go up to the loop this coming weekend (4/2-4/3)...there will be hundreds of cyclists. It's a big annual race weekend so there will be lots of guys and girls in tight spandex. It's fun to watch if you like those kind of thing.

wow, i'm amazed that there wasn't a single person up there biking today then. there was only one other car i saw up there, and that was when i was parked on the viewpoint.

Most local racers were taking a rest day or staying away from climbing because of today's event (gravel ride).

Thanks, Rider. It's my main concern with the loops, actually any drive.
