Same here! I'm not in a hurry to be the 1st on the block. I'll wait for the dealer markup to go down, any issues to be exposed and fixed, and different color options to be released later on.

I never have a good experience with stealership over there. They all want to eat flesh and suck blood.

I was jobless.

sorry for double post.

back to the topic. There is no such thing as getting a car that you don't test drive.

LOL yeah I think you mis-read it

G37 = comfortable
FT86 = controllable

close writing, but different meaning

There's your problem. He was worried that you would fall asleep at the wheel driving that boring xD. I bet he kept yapping the whole time too.

God, I'm dreading the dealer experience for the FT86, double-so if it does end up being a Scion. Shudder...

I HATE car dealers. It's like every time I deal with them they make an active effort to make me not want to buy from them. And I don't mean 'not buy the car'. Not buy from *them*. They're a step above thieving drug addicts in their lying and ass-kissing.

They always make a lot of bullshit statements.
I went to a Nissan dealership to check out the new Z. Saleman over there know nothing about the Z. He didn't even know how big the engine is.

That's why I like doing my research b4 I buy anything, shut them down on every wrong comment they make, tell them I can see thru the bullshit and offer at least 10% less of what they said. If I don't like it I start walking, get a shout back with a il talk to the manager
My friend did the same thing and bought a brand new 40k car for 26k WITH tint and reverse sensors lol. He dealer hopped 2 at the same time :p

Will buy if it at least comes close to meeting my expectations. Otherwise, I will probably never buy another Toyota car (until I can afford an LFA).

see now thats the thing i kind of DO need it, because the corolla is on its last legs its done over 341,000km thats roughly 213,000miles and ive got to get the gearbox(oil leak) and cluch replaced(slipping badly atm), and im trying to put off the purchase of a new vehicle till the production version comes out, and if this car dosnt meet expectations then im back at square one trying to find a car that is able to be a daily/weekend warrior and also be able to track it when i have the chance and the corolla is only suitable for being a daily and its KILLING me i want a sports car i can have fun in!
