Not really.... That is still a two seater convertible at heart. Same old Miata.

I will take a fixed top coupe over an electric targa top any day. The miata looks better though imo.

PS: I think there are at least 9 86 badges on this car.

crap, i forgot about that. from what I can see in the pics the 86 still has the same gauges. that fancy screen is just going to be more ammo for the BRZ master race

I actually really like the new targa miata, but Twins>miata still.

I actually think the front bumper cover doesn't look as bad as it did in the renderings, but I also prefer the original front bumper cover as a prospective buyer. Overall I think the 86 badges on the fenders ruins the lines on the car, almost cluttered looking.

I wonder how easy it would be to remove the plastic off the steering wheel... Other than that I do think it looks much nicer with the new headlights, tails, and interior.

Yep, Toyota was pretty clear that the 17s would be monospec still but they did say they would be looking at more levels moving forward. The 18s very well will have a trim level that uses that side as well.

That is the number one reason I have never even considered a Miata right there^. It is just to freakin' happy looking and seems cartoon like. Or a playful puppy maybe.

Yeah I wouldn't mind that, I can play the waiting game. Gives me more time to pay off my current car and save anyways.
