They probably saw how stupid people are about the damn 86 badges and debadging their cars and JDM yo that they figured the more badges it has the more it would appeal to buyers.

I know some will like so many but my guess it that for the majority they figured wrong.

That blank spot on the right side looks terrible. It's like a constant reminder that you're missing some features.

Like the gaping blank spot on the current FRS where people shove metal plaques ha ha

Assuming this might be different for a potential RS/special edition based on the leaked BRZ pictures where the higher trim level would get those additional features

Maybe, but it's probably more that the 86 gets the exact same steering wheel as the BRZ, and the BRZ has buttons there. I suppose it's inevitable that there will be a special 86 with those features eventually.

edit: we're saying the same thing. so yeah.

Based on the Scion Q/A page I don't think we will see a R.S. this year. And since Toyota doesn't really have R.S. cars of their own there may not be too many down the road either.

Hopefully this is just the base model since we saw the 2nd set of button and the screen on the cluster in the BRZ leak. Needs more interior shots.

The seats look boring.
86 logo on the headlights looks like something a ricer would do lol

I'll pick up the carpet though probably to get those 86 badges haha
The rims also seem very nice, might consider them once i see them in person.
Aside from the steering wheel, I think the entire car looks a class up from the original. That single color/fabric seat material from the FRS looked cheap to me. I preferred the BRZ fabrics which looks like the 86 seems to be taking a cue from. The car itself looks more BRZ to me than even an FRS. I still prefer the FRS front bumper but I like what I'm seeing.

Sorry but until Mazda can fix this hideous sad-faced mom-jeans ass, what you're describing simply isn't the case.

And she doesn't have a pretty face either...
