For disconnecting the fuel lines, don't get a tool, grab two zip ties, cut them in half, jam them into the quick connect, and yank the line out. Thank me later.
When it tells you to reinstall the fuel rails, plug the crossover cable (blue clips) into the rail before you reinstall them on the side you're working on. Basically clip it in, then rotate the rail into place. Otherwise it will tell you to reinstall the rail first, then the crossover, but it's a tight fit and you could damage the crossover.
Remember to clock your injectors to the tabs on the rails. They're dual cone spray and have to be aligned right.
Yes, it is okay to zip tie the evap harness that close to the block.
You should probably grab a second person for: Front Fascia, Manifold/Blower, and reinstalling the serpentine belt (unless you use a knee or something clever).
Make sure your tuner knows to offset the MAP for a 2.5bar Bosch 0 261 230 042.
Dude, awesome! Thanks

I found out there are 504 VINs for the Series.HyperBlue, 11 are corporate owned, 493 were retailed. I'm not sure how that works out in regards to assigning the numbers. Do you guys think Subaru rounds down and just says there are 500 or doesn't include 4 of the Corporate vehicles?

Don't understand why only 4/11 corporate vehicles would be voided and not all 11. I would think more likely they rounded UP from the retailed amount of vehicles, because saying "only 493 were made" sounds weird on an advertisement lol

What about the 50 that ended up in Australia? At least I seem to recall something about there being some in Aus, I can't find it now.

They still have normal VINs like we do right? Not sure.

Those numbers shouldn't factor into the 500. For the series.blue, there were 1000 designated for the US. The Canadian Aozora edition wasn't counted against the 1000.

Honestly I always wondered that too. There were at least 2 or 3 members on here from AU that I've seen drive Hyperblues, but I don't know if that is of the 500 or separate. I would assume the 500 units were TOTAL considering there are .uk, .com, and .au press releases that claim "500 units" and I highly doubt they made 500 per country.

PS, if anyone starts experimenting with aftermarket trunks, I want your stock one.
I'll have a debadged stock HyperBlue trunk for sale shortly if you're interested.

Got something planned.. And no, not carbon fiber!

Well, the repairs came along nicely. In person, You can't even tell it was wrecked. New parts line up perfectly waiting on the airbags and seat to replaced, then the glass put back on and she should be done!

Hey all, I know this is informal and don't expect to have too many of you disclose info but I am 99% of the way to buying a HyperBlue. May I ask what you paid out the door for your BRZ. I am putting 0 down but based on where I live, even getting a HyperBlue at 26,588 (which is my lowest offer quoted), the car comes out to be 29518. May I ask what you all paid for reference to see if I can gain more leverage. Or have I reached the apex. Thanks.

The only prices that matter are those within about 100 miles of you. The dude in Buttfuk Idaho could pay much less or more than you. These cars vary in price significantly by region and local demand. Check out Autotrader for the prices of any nearby you.

That's a good price. It's 500 below invoice.
