I feel the following colours complement blue:
•Red
•Gold/yellow/bronze
•Black
•Silver

Oh, and this...

...is really nice!

A little red would be OK. Like anything though you could get carried away. Red wheels for example would look cartoonish but red calipers poking through the rim would look great.

It's easier for me to envision color combinations by looking backward to to some of the classic color schemes that just WORKED...

You know I have had black interiors so long I had pretty much forgotten that most of my cars had complimentary or contrasting colours inside!

As others have said white and black. More specifically though, white OR black. Having white and black accents simultaneously would just be way too busy IMO.

I cannot understand why anyone would build a blue car with a red accent and stitching on the interior and I cannot understand why anyone would buy one either. My son fortunately bought a red FR-S yesterday. Liked the blue one too but would never buy a blue car with red accents on upholsterly.

red tails, dark tint, bronze/gold wheels and go from there changing one thing at a time.

Browse through the Ultramarine thread for ideas.
