Hey guys! Glad to finally be a part of the community. Just picked up a hyper blue BRZ and I'm looving it. I've been a car guy since I was a kid, so this is a really fun car to add to the garage.

There seems to be a wealth of information in here, so I won't try to add more threads than necessary.

I plan to keep the car stock power-wise until warranty is out. Looking to maybe get some coils, wheels and tires going once I've run through the meat on these stock tires. But definitely an exhaust and smaller accessories to tie me over until then. After that, who knows! This is the first NA car I've ever owned, and it would be interesting to break away from the turbo-world, maybe dip my toes in sc.

Anyway, musings for another day. Glad to be here! Hope to meet some of you at local meets.

This might help you out hopefully.

I would recommend contacting your dealership about the status of your order. My dealership gave me a 2-3 month ETA and it arrived in 7 weeks. I'm in the United States though, not sure if it's different for Canada.

Hi all!

I've been looking for a LR BRZ Limited for a little while now and managed to find a local unsold '15 for a great deal. Started getting bored of the porkiness nature of my '13 STi and moved on to something that should tickle my pickle more. Very excited to feeling out this car and getting lots of seat time this track season! The STi has been to Raceway Park, NJMP, and Watkins Glen. I want to expand that hopefully to Lime Rock as well with the BRZ.

Here's a photo of the new, with some of the old.

Cheers!

I texted the salesperson who sold me the car. She told me it's in the area already and will be in the store any day. Hopefully it's 1~2 days.

Anyone know how long this'll take?

Been a suby fan for a long time, since 1998. Got my first wrx in 2002, then the Sti in 2004. After 172K on the STi it started signs of wear and maintenance and problems started to catch up. The BRZ is completely different from the normal suby platform, but oh such a wonderful car!!! I will always miss the STi, but the BRZ totally makes up for that!

Just saying hello! I got my 2016 Limited Ice Silver MT BRZ last week. This is Scooby #13 for me so I'm not new to them by any means. I don't have a lot of seat time yet, I'm still in break in mode so I'm taking it easy for now. I'm liking it a lot so far though! What I'm not crazy about is the graphic on the side of the car. That may be gone soon I think.

Today I put the FRS mudflaps on and ordered Kartboy things, new horns and stuff like that. Looking forward to learning more about my car on the boards.

Cheers,

This week I will pull the trigger on an order for a 2017 BRZ, grey, manual transmission, fabric seats. Dealer says it will be ready in July.

I live in Jamaica - not very many of them around here. The Toyota dealer no longer carries the FT86 (as it was called in this market), and the Subaru dealer doesn't stock them, special order only.

I've been lurking the site for a month, gathering information and now I'm ready to go. July can't come fast enough!

Deove my 2006 Wrx to a dealer... Test drove a BRZ solo for 45 minutes. Feels nice - not even revving over 4K.

Has the sti strut and brace, front lip, spoiler, leather seats. 4 hours later it's outside my house and I no longer have a Wrx. Had 150km on the clock and was "dealer used".

No buyers remorse yet

I've been a lurker here for about a year but finally brought myself to make an account. You all helped me decide towards buying this fantastic car! Ordered in Oct. 2015 and picked up in Dec. 2015.

Current mods include: Buddy Club taillights, Valenti fourth brake light, Diode Dynamics LEDs all around, and the famous clutch return spring removal.

Bought a 2016 Crystal White Pearl yesterday. Finally had a great deal come along and pulled the trigger on it. Can't wait to drive the hell out of this car.
