When you say "how the clutch works", do you mean high revs or stalling? Mine can still feel like a binary setting 2,000 miles after buying.

Just the engagement point I'd say. I got a better feel for it now though.

I know what you mean. I have driven manual all my life and was having trouble adjusting to the clutch too. I decided on removing the clutch return spring described here. It makes a huge difference and it is an easy and reversible modification.

Thanks for the tip I'll look it over and see if it's something I'd like to try out.

Hello everyone! I wanted to check in to say that I am new to these forums and that I had bought my first Subaru. A few weeks ago, I started looking at sports cars/hot hatches (VW GTI, Chevrolet Corvette, Subaru BR-Z, Mazda Miata, Mustang GT).

A few days ago, I decided to go look at a 2016 BR-Z with the auto 6spd at a local dealer after my training class let out early. I got there and they had already sold the 2016 but they did have a 2013 that I test drove. Needless to say, 2 days later I took the 2013 home with me.

I am now a proud owner of a 2013 Subaru BR-Z Limited in Galaxy Silica Blue with the following:
  • Navigation
  • Bi-Xenon Lights
  • 6-speed Auto with Paddle Shift and Sport Mode

This particular Subaru had under 3,000 miles on it, and was never sold to an actual customer -- instead, it was owned by Subaru. My guess here is that it was used as a demo/floor model as it had more of the bigger options (Navigation, etc.).

Here are a few pictures:

I ended up paying $27,000 even with a 100k/7yr. Bumper-to-Bumper warranty

Howdy all,

After having read lots of posts here and a few questions regarding my datalogs, it's time to introduce myself:

I live in Munich, Germany and I bought my GT86 last summer. Prior to the GT, I had a BMW e46 330 convertible and was a passionated motorbiker. Then, with respect to my family and the old e46, I decided to temporarily switch to car-only driving and I remembered driving a GT86 back in 2012 or so as Garage service car. Also, when driving in the Alps with my bike (I'd say faster than 98% of the other bikers), I got to new a guy who drove a LOTS faster on the alpine roads than I were able to on my bike.

So somehow that's the story how I came to m Toyobaru and I'm excited every f****g single day I drive that car because it's just so much fun for the bucks :-)

My last car was a slightly modified Nismo 370z, which was an awesome car but lacked a certain amount of involvement. The BRZ has it's own faults, but with every corner I conquer, I am reminded of one of the reasons I fell in love with the car. Anyways, that's a story for another thread. Just wanted to stop by to say hello and let the modding begin.

*That's my old Z in the background. I hope she found a good owner.
Very nice! I went from a 350Z to my BRZ in Dec of '15 and I have to agree with you about the involvement, at least in my area and with autocross. It's a very different kind of car but they really are a driver's kind of car

I guess I'm not really new here but I am looking for a thread on engine oil coolers and figure this is a reasonably good place to start. Anybody know of a handy thread discussing the pros and cons and installs and reviews of engine oil coolers or should I maybe start one?

Holy shit, it's been over 5 months now and I haven't heard from my dealership. How long does it take to build/ship a 2016 BRZ from Japan to Canada. Wtf..
