Posted these as part of my autox post in the track/auto-x forum, but figured I'd put it here also just in case.

my wheel tire combo - Traklites are functionally better, but I just couldn't put flat black wheels on a black car. These are Velox VX-6R cast, 17x7, ET42, claimed at 14.5 lb but weighed 15.4-15.6 on my scale.

the obligatory tire comparo shot - I went with AD08's thinking their reported driving characteristics would best match my driving style/experience. Also, they are reportedly good enough in the rain that I wouldn't have to be concerned about driving them to/from events if I chose to. I went with 225's for just a bit more width and to not loose any max 2nd gear speed vs stock.

I saw them listed on one of the dated wheel weight lists.

Found them still available for purchase at: http://store.phantasmusa.com/vevsiwh.html
but they were just dropped shipped directly from Velox in CA.

Also, the gun metal / machined pictured on the site are not available, only the silver / machined.
