Also is it just me or has the price of motor oil gone down in the past couple months?! I paid $36 dollars for 5 quarts of 0w-20 oil couple months ago at AutoZone and now i'm seeing the same 0w-20 oil listed at most other stores for around $25. I did get a "free" Mobil 1 oil filter from AutoZone when I bought the 5 quarts of oil - maybe this is why the oil was $36?

I don't know if its still valid, but I just bought 6qts of Mobil 1 through an Amazon prime deal for $27.99 shipped.

"2 of Mobil 1 94001 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil - 1 Quart (Pack of 6)
Sold by: Amazon.com LLC
$27.99"

It looks like the deal is now $37.99 but may be worthwhile to keep an eye on to see if it drops again.

it did because the price of crude oil barrels has dropped drastically, it should actually be even lower than that me thinks

They never were listed, but I have not had any problems getting the last 2 rebates I have submitted. Read post #1.

As before you can submit the rebate online.Take a pic or scan your receipt and upload the file. Submit twice for 2 rebates, i.e, 2-5 qt jugs.

It took only 2 weeks to get my last rebate check.

Linked thru Discovercard cashback to Walmart to get 5% cash back and ordered 2-5 qt jugs for pickup. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mobil-1-Ex...-5-qt/36019107
Thanks for the update. Here's how I paid for mine. Register with TopCashBack.com and go to the link for Walmart. http://www.topcashback.com/wal-mart/ You get 4% cash back.

Add oil to your shopping cart to get the total. Now go to giftcardgranny.com. Bought an electronic gift card at a 3% discount.

Pay for the electronic gift card with a cash back credit card. Citi gives me 2% on all purchases.

Pay for oil with your electronic gift card. Get cash back through topcashback. Get cash back through your credit card. Get cash back from Mobil for the rebate.

Total for 2 5qt jugs of Mobil1: $55.91 including tax
Money saved --
4% rebate with topcashback: $2.24
3% discount on electronic gift card: $1.68
2% cash back on gift card by purchasing with credit card: $1.08
Rebate through Mobil for 2 jugs of oil: $24
Total: $26.91 spent or $29 saved 52% total discount.

Mobil 1 oil rebate is back again. Promotion good until October 31, 2016.
https://mobiloil.com/en/promotion/mo...nd-mobil-super

Fastest way to get your rebate is to upload a pic of your receipt here:
https://apfco.com/secure/R8235W/Home/Entry

Walmart is still not on their list of participating retailers but I have had no problems getting past rebates from Walmart purchases.

If you have a Discovercard, link through ShopDiscover to Walmart, order online, pickup at store, and get 5% cash back.
