reminds me of the Hyundai Veloster. Which I find interesting and disgusting at the same time.

A huge chunk of the beauty of our car (imo) is that the engine is so low, allowing the hood to be low, and giving us that nice sleek look (that is also functional). A hatch doesn't flow well with all of that.

Boredom.

Remember kids, don't photoshop while bored. Hideous monstrosities happen that way.

This is exactly what I was thinking but couldn't put into words.
I also agree about the low hood lines, that fat ass of a hatch just doesn't flow.

I love the various shooting brakes. The only way I see myself ever selling the 86 is to buy a shooting brake 86.

I like the brz hatch photoshop. I'd actually buy one if they looked good. Hatches tend to look like shit in today's age, the only real recent hatch I like right now is the sti and the ctsv but the v is a wagon not really a hatch.

Agree however I do recall some very nice shooting brake conversions of older Astons and Jags.

Looks like a photoshopped c30, especially with the black fender trim.

Jaguar made an XK-E in the mid-sixties they called the 2 + 2. It looked very pregnant to me -- and I still couldn't imagine sitting back there.
