Was looking at updating my tune, currently running v84 UEL E85.

Have downloaded the latest tune files v95 / v97 and was wondering which tune I should use.

My setup is E85 / OFH / BPB

Should I just use Stg2 UEL E85 v95.US.Lean

Thanks Amigos.

AT? Which Model Year?

If your car is originally A01I then

- Stg2 UEL_Tomei E85 v95.US.Lean
if you have Tomei/PSR/Gruppe-S

- Stg2 UEL E85 v95.US.Lean
if you have another brand

One will feel better than the other between 3000-4000.

If you have earlier MY AT, then you will likely need to run the maf scale from the MT rich version.

Thanks buddy I have a 2013 GTS auto with Openflash header running A01I. On a side note, do you still over paid custom tunes? Think I might benefit from it as I have BPB.

Thanks Ollie

You don't need any custom timing for bpb on e85.

Added v98.
- Restored port injection above 5000 rpm on petrol.
- Completely removed US (E10) maf scales from 98 tunes.

US people should use OTS maf scales and base timing as starting points.

Just wanted to say thanks for this, I've been using this since around v86 and between this and the guide it's been a huge learning experience for me. I do have one questions though, I seem to remember that the earlier versions had the readme.txt in them telling you which tables to modify for certain versions. I don't have that readme anymore and I see that the newer versions don't have it included anymore. Would you possibly be able to post it up so that I can grab a copy of it, just so that I don't end up ham-fisting something by accident when I'm tweaking from a newer version, or has it been completely superseded by the guide now?

Download any OFT 2.0x package from openflash, compare the examples to the matching roms of the same calibration code (A01I/A01G) from 2.0x.

Some tables will be applicable to some regions, some won't. RR table descriptions, your logs and all the many threads here should tell you which are needed. Many won't be required.

Those threads (such as all steve's threads) explain what the changes do, these are here to make it easy to copy+paste. You still need to understand for yourself what you're doing.

I'd been using the guide to tailor certain areas to my specifics, just a couple of areas in the example maps that I wasn't sure about, so I figured I'd leave them as opposed to copying them, especially as I'm converting to US MT 93 Oct setup for myself. Primarily that was the Idle Speed Stability and the Misfire Maps.

You also need to compare it to the same calibration code, do not compare an EU region map to US region because you'll get a ton of different tables different.

I say don't try to fix what ain't broke. Fix cranking, fuel, etc as required. If your car idle's fine, don't touch idle.

Exactly what I figured, thank you again for everything you've done for this community with both these maps and guides. I know this place would be a very different place without yourself, Steve and everyone else who has put so much time into tweaking the OFT maps.

Hi when I tried to upload new data for updated cranking fuel injector for E85 I always get this error. Any help? VV

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Hey Guys,

Getting my OFT soon, I've got a MY13 AT. Essentially stock, but will be getting a UEL header in the future.

If I'm running stock everything and 98Ron fuel, should I just stick with shiv's latest OTS tunes? Stage 1 91oct or 93oct?

Or should I look at running wayno's Stage 1 98?

Cheers!

the stock tunes will run ok

i think the auto tunes were missing the p0420 cel code disable for header on some tunes

European and ausies only get one level of petrol tune the 91 version (98 ron version)

but wayno mods are well worth doing
