I agree with you 100% that anybody should do what they want. They also need to understand that not everybody else is going to like it and roll with the bad comments. The can not expect everybody to either agree or keep their mouth shut since is that not how the world works.
The only aspect of the whole widebody, slammed, camber yo scene that bugs the hell out of me personally is the prevalent attitude that everybody SHOULD like it. The whole defense through attack thing seems to be the major method that so many of that crowd use and it just reinforces an image of the owners that is not real nor fair but stereotypes develop for a reason.
I don't believe everyone should like it. But the extreme negative bashing bothers me so I took the opportunity to draw a parallel with the cars that have these features but are somehow acceptable

You can not draw a parallel because they are not the same cars nor crowd.
There are classic car guys that will freak out because somebody chopped that Merc "it should have been left stock for history". There are guys that will berate people for the flames "it should be a solid colour to show the classic lines". And so on and so on.
Just because the crowd here thinks it is good does not mean another crowd condones it. You can not cross the car guy lines and say "it is ok for them but not here" since it isn't ok for some over there either.

I think Cole is a closet weeaboo. He seems awfully obsessed with them
With that avatar, you're going to call me out? And not even have the balls to tag me. lmfao.

Please post a picture of your car so that I can make more fun of you.

I rarely tag anyone, you shouldn't take offense it at. You were active in the thread, I assumed you would read it.

So... If I'm a weeaboo cuz my avatar is an anime girl does that make you gay for having a man as your avatar?

Would it be a problem if I was gay?

Not for me. I have no problems with gay folk. Your girlfriend and parents might have a problem though. But that's between you guys

My recommendation is pay it off, graduate, then get a new car. By then BRZ's will be like $10k or the new refresh models will be out.

If you really want to get rid of it, then be prepared to either:

I. Get a huge APR like 10%+
II. Hurt your mom's credit

Go to a credit union, then refinance if you can. Save $2-3k to do this. Get your mom off the title. Then do whatever you want.

Now, if you want to build some credit, keep the car for a year (IMO). In the mean time, get a part time job or work study job, open 2-3 credit cards, use them until you owe $250 on each and make minimum payments for approx 8 months. Should have a decent credit history and score by then.
I was able to build credit fast by using less than 30% of my total credit limit. And making payments on full (No balance).

But i guess credit is tricky so i could vary from person to person..

Full payments actually build credit more slowly. Best process to build credit quickly is to get a credit card through your bank with a smaller limit, say $2000. Then go out and buy something reasonably large with it (that you already need), like a new TV or something for $500. At that point, your minimum payments will probably be something tiny, like $10. Pay it off over the next six months, making payments of roughly $90/month. You'll pay a tiny bit of interest, but that'll give you a payment history and show that you can carry a balance and pay it off. Rinse and repeat a few times.
