yeah, could just snap it off and drill it out and just use a longer bolt vs the stud. good excuse for an upgrade though

Anyone ever fill up at Sonoma Raceway? I just filled up with 100 octane at $9.199/gallon, but the receipt shows 91 at 3.167 gallons. They said they're going to contact me about it on their findings, if it's a printer error, or if they actually put the wrong gas in the wrong tank. I have no way to test if it was really 100 octane either

All I know is the gas in my tank right now should be slightly higher than 93 octane.

Way out of my way. I live in Vallejo and work in San Rafael. I'm not planning on constantly filling up with higher octane, I just wanted to see how the car drives with 93 octane. Haha. I'll have to try it again next week since I don't know for sure if what I got was really 100 octane.

What differences have you noticed. So far, I've just noticed louder crickets.

I haven't romped on it for a couple of reasons. First being all the traffic on 37. Second being I wanted more time for the fuels to mix. I'll try flooring it tomorrow on the way to work.

It's not "OMG night and day difference", but I noticed everything was just a lot smoother, and the car pulled harder over 4k rpm.

Basically with the 91 tune, when you fill up with 94+ it just allows the tune to operate as it was intended to.

I think you'll notice it tomorrow. Do a 4k-6.5k pull in 2nd and a hard shift into 3rd.

I gotta be fair in my test. I'll have to do a pull in 3rd and in 5th to see if I can feel any difference, at the same locations I would normally do a pull if I was in the mood.

One other difference I did notice after getting into Vallejo after filling up was that I'm getting less exhaust backfire/pops. It's actually almost non-existent. Wasn't expecting that. Could be a fluke, so I'll listen more tomorrow.
