You sir, get it!

If my car is not ready for the scrapyard by year ten, shame on me for not trying harder. Knowing that the car will never have a second owner or any residual value (other than scrap) is a liberating way to own cars.

: ) Take it easy!
Let's put it this way...
Paying less than 30k for this ride is your luck.

How about 76k people here in Bangkok have to pay
for the same ride? Should they expect more quality?

NVH maybe increase with the new springs. Are they noticeably stiffer?

Still, people in this thread are letting a $25k get a way with far too much. Corollas and new Imprezas don't have quality issues like we're experiencing and they cost less. The cost of a car shouldn't determine its build quality, material quality yea, but not build quality.

Just a observation I made.
I noticed this also while using the torque application. Once my oil temp is over 205-210 i start hearing the crickets.

Oh good so I am not the only one!! I think after 3 years we may have finally solved this issue. Everyone needs to go drop a grand on an oil cooler

I would love to find out if that is the case. I would much rather put 1k into getting rid of the crickets than spending it on a loud exhaust to cover the sound. lol
