Too Sensitive?

So long story short, I bought a series 10 a few months ago. Now I'm noticing every little tiny issue and they're frustrating me a lot.

For example, the issues I notice are:
Scratch from window guide on passenger side
Tiny specks in front windshield
Slight sun damage on headlights
Something rolling around in door on passenger side (I think)
A lot of random sounds coming from the trunk area
Small bumper paint scrape from someone tapping me in the parking lot.
Lots of crickets (I can hear them even when driving sometimes)

What do you guys think? Am I hypersensitive due to it being a new car? Does anyone else think like this?

Scratch from window guide on passenger side normal
Tiny specks in front windshield normal
Slight sun damage on headlights it happens
Something rolling around in door on passenger side (I think) this is an odd one?
A lot of random sounds coming from the trunk area normal
Small bumper paint scrape from someone tapping me in the parking lot. this is not going to stop happening so better park far away. normal
Lots of crickets (I can hear them even when driving sometimes)normal

Okay I responded in red. Also you bought a 30k car, what did you expect it to be?? its not a Mercedes :bellyroll:

Fair. It's good to see someone reassure me and at least tell me it's all normal.

same issues with my 10 series can't complain as it is a Scion sub 30k car after all. I basically bought it for the weight and chassis :bonk:

Honestly the best way to think about it is that you bought a racecar and it rattles and has all its issues because racecar!

Mine rattles on the glovebox, driving me crazy.

Welcome to new car ownership ....... :clap:

Yes, "stuff" happens when you drive a car on the highway.

I suggest you get on with fixing the things that can be fixed and learn to live with those that can't be fixed.

Kinda goes like this:

......grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Spray some quick detailer on the windshield and scrape with a razor blade. Then use some detailing clay to pick up some more contaminants. Seal up the glass when done. It won't fix it 100%, but it will be an improvement.

Slight sun damage on headlights
Not much you can do about that now. You can wet sand and polish it out, but make sure you re-seal the lights with something UV-resistant.

Small bumper paint scrape from someone tapping me in the parking lot.
Can be 75% fixed with touchup paint, patience, and skill

lolyup. although the crickets should only be audible at idle. they disappear above 1200rpm or so. if you still hear them above that, there might be a problem.

Don't let Go mess with your head. It's a great value. Nothing else like it in its price range. The exact same things were said of the 240Z. Yeah, those didn't survive at all. ;)
