Current look. Nur Spec front, TRD sides, and Nur Spec rear. OEM spoiler of course.

Saving up for some TSW Nurburgrings and will probably go with Continental DW tires

Awesome Car! I really like what you have done to it How does the car handle on 225 width michelin PSS? Do you feel like you need more tire/wider wheel with the supercharger when cornering?

Thanks! I think the width is just right for me. I mean, some nicer, slightly wider wheels would be good, like some 18x8s but all in all, it's the perfect size for oem wheels.

Plenty of updates finally. Getting my TRD springs put on soon. TSW's are on the way, and will be fitting 225 Continental DW tires on them. I'll post pictures of those when they're on.

Aero Stabilizer

JDM Leather Speaker Panels

Alcantara/ Leatherette arm rests

Updated interior and engine bay shots

Awesome build! Lots of good info in your build thread. Your 86 is looking great!

I'm trying to decide on my header + over pipe + front pipe combination... also whether to include a cat and resonators or just resonators. I just don't want to make my ride annoyingly loud...I want it to sound as good as it sounds now with my Ark Performance Grip cat-back exhaust.

Anyway, I'll have to see and hear your 86 next time I head to San Antonio...I actually pass through Kerrville when traveling to SA so pehaps we meet up. Hearing your exhaust system coupled with your SC should help me decide on my setup.

btw, are you a gym rat? The description of your tricep injury earlier in this thread points that way. I am a lifelong gym rat myself.

Personally, I love the way my exhaust sounds. It's not too loud, but more tame. I chose the tomei over pipe simply as it was the cheapest at the time. but any will do, really. It's not like there are gains to be made off of it. Also, the SC doesn't really make much noise. It's pretty quiet. Which I like, but don't like. It would be cool to have the whine, but then again, it's great for being a sleeper.

Yeah, if you're going to kerrville, let me know. This coming week my car will be in the shop for some minor paint work, but will be out by the end of the week.

As for the shoulder injury, it was one of my rotator cuff muscles which was injured (supraspinatus). I wouldn't say I'm a gym rat. I'm a personal trainer, and my degree is in Exercise Science. But, I do like to workout and have done my fair share of mud runs. As long as you're not a crossfitter we're good :p

With all the research I've been doing on the forum... I'm leaning towards having a cat in my system... either at the front pipe or at the exhaust manifold. Also, I agree with you about the gains from the over pipe and I guess HKS does too since they didn't produce one... so I will most likely leave that component stock. With a goal of a safe and reliable 250-275hp to the wheels... I think a 2.5" exhaust system is just fine throughout.

I won't be headed that way until April or so but I'll be definitely getting in contact with you when I do!

I'm not a crossfitter but I do some exercises crossfitters love like power cleans, muscle-ups, farmers walks, suspension training, etc....I train for strength and endurance... crossfit does help with that...but quantity over quality is not how I do things. Luckily I've stayed for the most part, injury free most my life.

Having on cat will help with the rasp. I know HKS has the dual resonated front pipe, so that would help. But I'm not gonna lie, when I'm sitting in traffic, I can still smell the exhaust having one cat. But it's not a big deal.

Unfortunately, the gym I work at doesn't have the proper set up for power movements. Which sucks because I'd like to at least get familiar with certain exercises such as the power clean, clean and jerk, or the snatch. As for quantity over quality, yeah I'm pretty anal about that. If you're going for a certain number over the form, especially with a power movement, then you really don't need to be doing it. Some exercises are fine with that logic, like core, but a power movement, or a muscle up is not a good idea. haha.
