Over pipe taps subframe
Hey guys. I recently installed the isr performance over pipe / front pipe combo and the over pipe doesn't have enough clearance and taps the sub frame on initial take off or left turns. Been trying to find a solution! Anyone else get rattle from their over pipe and fix it? Still running the stock header.

You could try loosening booth ends of it and adjusting so that it sits nicely in the middle of the gap. Otherwise, it could just be poor fitment of the part.
I have a no name eBay over pipe and I haven't had a problem with it. I just took the time to line it up nicely when I installed it |

Wire that sucker over with baling wire ........
![]() Find an old coot at the hardware store ... he will fix you up with the proper wire. The redneck way would be to stick a crowbar up there and bend it over so it don't want to go back that way. humfrz |

If the problem is purely part fitment wrapping the over pipe in a header wrap would help reduce the noise as well.

Thats Odd I dont have any issues with my ISIS(ISR) overpipe. I guess it depends on header and front pipe placement as well.
