It sounds like your rear track is too far back. Come down next weekend if you don't find someone up there to adjust it.

Yeah, I'm glad they're doing sane size wheels for the power levels of this car. I think the 17x8.5s are 16 pounds.

I liked these for a while too. Not as light as the Forgestars, but still pretty nice looking.

I used a scale and the 'weigh yourself without/weigh yourself with' method and came up with 19lbs. Not as light as I'd like, no clue where they got 16, there's even a picture on their facebook with the wheel on the scale showing 16.2. They should be right around stock weight for the whole setup, though.

I'm down for next weekend! It's my weekend off too. I'll keep you updated.

This is perfect because I can't replicate the issue and keep forgetting to record it on my phone.

I also do need to get outta Seattle..

Yeah, if you limit your choices to only things lighter than stock, it's not a particularly long list of choices.

* Go out with the car. About 50% of the time, something would go wrong and we'd have to go back home. Other 50% of the time, cruisin' and trying to meet women. While we were out, get something to eat, which we had not done all day.

* Next Saturday, repeat procedure.

This made me wish I had friends and Saturdays off.

From what I read here, the geometry is already pretty much spot on for the car. All those I've driven with bigger wider wheels have way more give. They stick alright but they're all mushier.

PSA: If you buy aftermarket wheels that have a wider hub bore than the stock wheels, i.e. they require hub centric rings, be careful which lug nuts you buy. My F14 wheels have a hub bore of like 72mm or something like that and SR48 lug nuts from Metuki don't fit. You'll need skinny lug nuts if your wheels have a big bore.

I like having 2000+ pages, but the VBulletin software doesn't really handle threads well that have 300+ pages...
