Hello Guys!
Hello my name is Wyatt and I just joined the forum today. I look forward to reading and discussing about such a great car! I am only 18 and I have a passion for mechanics. When I was looking for my second car, i wanted something older, easy to fix, reliable, cool, and rear wheel drive. After weeks of searching Craigslist for a car to fit my interest, i came across a MKII Supra that was stunning, so my father and I went to go see this car and it was even more gorgeous in person, the seller also gave me one hell of a deal. I bought it without hesitation and was completely happy with it. A couple months later, it starting leaking oil terribly and knocking. Eventually it spun a main bearing; I made the decision to keep the car alive and invest everything i had into the repairs. I rebuilt the engine completely on my own, machining the crank, replacing the rings, honing the cylinders. I got her running 1 day before high school graduation last year, she still runs like a top. It was then i realized my passion for mechanics and my love for Toyotas. I ended up getting a job as a technician at a GMC dealership and buying a new car to get back and forth to work. In August of 2015 I bought a used 2013 FRS with 30k miles on it. Man, I must say, what an amazing car! I've already installed ISR catback exhaust and an Injen cold air intake, i am not concerned about horsepower as much as conserving the balance of the car. Thanks for reading! See you around the forums. Last edited by wyatt263; 02-14-2016 at 05:14 PM. |

Nice stable of cars. You are very wise when you say you want to maintain the balance in the 86. Welcome to a very nice forum of enthusiasts.

Did an 18 year old just introduce themself on this forum in a polite manner without demanding redundant information AND using proper grammar?
Holy shit. There is still hope for this generation. Welcome wyatt263! |

Nice, Welcome to the Club!
Didn't realize ISIS performance changed it's name to ISR for good reason that makes sense.

Thanks for having me! And yes, correct grammar (or almost correct) and politeness is often rare on forum sites, especially with young users. I'll try my very best to not ask the cliche questions!

Hello and welcome @wyatt263
Please stay away from motoring.au. Yes the engine chirp is normal. There hasn't been and probably won't be a OEM power increase. And BRZ owners will think they are better than you. Thus concludes the crash course of our forum. Enjoy your stay |

I remember when I too didn't want to upset the car's balance. Those were the days! Welcome @wyatt263, and enjoy the ride!
