I prefer to call it a midpipe, it's just minor details.

And it is not catted. Both are functional resonators and I am very curious if this will solve a lot of the "excessive noise" problems that people have with some combinations of headers/exhausts.

I would call it a front pipe just so people do not get confused.

I think it's worthwhile for those running completely catless or want to run certain catbacks without large resonators.

Why did you go all Secret Squirrel on us? Unless you have some reason to keep things incognito, who makes the front pipe?

It looks well made and may work for those that want to forego cats altogether or who have a catted header, but it's not what I'm looking for. Ideally, I'd like to see another catted and resonated front pipe hit the market to give those of us with uncatted headers some additional options to keep noise manageable.

I have a JDL ultra quiet front pipe. It has a cat and a resonator. I am happy with it. Nameless makes one too.

I never knew you made parts or is this some kind of Fujitsubo underground news haha

But yeah, would be nice to pair this up with my Fujitsubo Authorize R if it will keep things quiet! If so this would be a perfect option for me, since I have a catted header.

Any idea on production date? When will i be able to order?

That's just it, I am trying to get actual sound clips from a variety of exhaust applications to represent what this can do.

In an ideal world, I'd have both EL/UEL catted/uncatted headers, and quiet/loud aftermarket exhausts to test out.

I only have so much time during the day and the car/lift is sometimes not accessible to me. My own car is at the dealer with the engine pulled for front timing cover leak, otherwise I would've installed this last week.

My end goal is to not just have pictures and a price, but to have actual sound clips w/ the same test procedure(s) so that we can have an actual reference point for everyone.

Threw on the Tomei 60R (one of the loudest exhausts for our cars)...

Stock + Tomei 60R -- 107.1db

Front pipe + Tomei 60R -- 107db

Will be adding uncatted header next to see where the sounds end up.
