I went from the latest Gen Corolla (Which was awesome, for a eco car!) to the FRS and I love both, I do miss the space and feature on the Corolla, but something about the FRS made me fell in love with the car lol. Maybe its the cockpit, the handling, idk, I just love everything about it lol.

Lucky you didn't drive it, else you'd be trading that corolla and getting a loan for the FRS. Took one test drive and I was done

I found the perfect position for my stock drivers seat:

Like most cars, especially Japanese cars, they are just not ergonomic enough for me and very uncomfortable for any drive over half an hour. I bought the FR-S in spite of it's lousy seating because the car it just that phenominal to drive, and seats can be changed.

What did you replace it with? I personally love the stock seat and it is probably one of the best I have ever had in a car (even over some old school Recaros in my Talon) but always looking at options.

I believe that there is a handle on the driver's seat, that if pumped, will raise and lower the entire seat ......

Same here, even with my busted up hips and finicky back, the seat fits my frame perfectly..........

You are the 1%

of people who don't like the 86 stock seats.

Hm. my feeling is that it raises the rear part of the seat much more than the front part. Basically the seat cushion tilts forward. Maybe it's me though.

OP. you're bold. But I like it. I believe the FR-S costs almost twice as much as a corolla. Kind of like dropping off a Chevy Malibu and asking for a corvette loaner. Can't hurt to ask though. you never know.

Haha, given the age and mileage of my Corolla, I think that the (pretty new) Yaris I got is worth 3 times as much ;-)

I have been on 5 business trips and 3 vacations since I got the FRS and have tried to rent one each time. Car rental places be like "a what?", "oh that. No but we have a nice Corvette for an extra $100 a day".
