I bought the header and overpipe with heat shield, gonna install it either tomorrow or Monday. gonna be good.
Didn't even spend an hour, saw the op's vid post and I'm in love. Problem is I've spent my cash on my car, now i need $$$ for upgrades. Anyone want to donate to my exhaust fund???

I have borla, sounds great, quality is sub par, however mine has stood up to 3 years of abuse so I know they are not frail

Someone said it was a bad production run. Um inclined to believe this because they've made a huge impact in auto performance.

I read that the version 1 of Borla UEL headers were prone to cracking, and that the V2 headers are much stronger. Can't validate the truthfulness, it's just what I've heard.

Aside from that, the Borla UEL headers paired with the FT86SpeedFactory exhaust sound heavenly 😙

that was the end result of me being bored and looking up UEL videos on youtube.

As ryoma has shown the Gruppe-S uel is still the best one on the market for price, if I hadn't got the CNT and saved up a bit more I would've gotten the Gruppe-S it's basically a Tomei in fact its made in the same factory.

Borla had a bad production run, but fixed the rattle and cracking issue in the V2 however the welds on the interior and collector are still quite sloppy and not worth the price you pay. Go with the gruppe or OFG for the long term investment
