It is. Our WORKS MP is 2.5" tubing while stock is 2.0".

Figure I would leave a review of my experience with Works!

I called Works Motorsports to inquire if they provided a 30k service for my BRZ. I go to school in Napa, and I was really hesitant to have the Subaru Napa stealership take my car and spit out a $800 for something completely random. So in less than 24 hours, Works emailed me back with a very reasonable quote and the communication was easy and helpful to set up a time that worked with my schedule.

Arriving to Works Motorsports is a pleasure in itself. You pull into Sonoma Raceway after the beautiful scenic drive, and you feel like you're pulling to Disneyland. Maybe it's the view of the Sunoco fuel pumps just inside the gate, but you just feel excited. You sign a quick little waiver at the front gate and you make a tight left and up to the business complex on top of a hill. Works is the first space to your right, and you can tell because of all the Evo's parked outside. But what caught my eye, was their shop BRZ in front of everyone.

I go inside, wait a little bit as I caught them in the middle of lunch, and they take my keys and my BRZ rolls into the shop. They have wifi, which is nice since there's almost no reception up there. (T-Mobile problems) My plan was to do some homework, but I got distracted looking at my car getting worked on. I had upgraded to the Motul fluids and I was anxious to feel the difference.

About half way through the service, one of their employees approached me and introduced himself as Harry. I believe he's in charge of sales for Works. He gave me an extensive list of all the products they have for the FR-S/BRZ. Engine, exhaust, suspension, brakes. Hell, even embroidered floor mats. Harry was awesome and took me outside and let me check out the Works BRZ. We popped the hood and I was able to inspect their Stage 2 turbo. And better yet, fired her up and we were able to take her for a spin. I guess I got lucky because she was running on E85. After Harry drove around a bit, he let me get behind the wheel and get a few good pulls out this amazing car. I have to say, their combination of Ohlins suspension with their Stage 2 turbo was a match made in heaven. Even though I was on a incline, their turbo system was insane and made that an irrelevant factor. I was pushed back in my seat and had a smile on my face. The road we used was extremely bumpy as well, but I understand why these Ohlins coilovers are a pretty penny. They respond so smoothly to everything on the road but still give confidence to the driver.

Sadly, I had to return this awesome toy back to the shop and Harry showed me around some more. Took me to where they tune their cars and showed me their dyno. By the time I was done exploring, my car was done and ready to go. The staff was friendly and Harry was extremely helpful and cool to let me drive their Works BRZ. It's great to see a reputable shop like Works begin to invest their resources into the 86 platform. They did some amazing and quality builds with the Evo, and they'll always be there, but I'm pretty sure they recognize the potential our FA20 engines have. Pretty exciting stuff and I'm sure to come back again soon!

Hopefully Works put up another service special when its time for my next oil change.
