Feel free to post what you find as you call around for those of us who are interested as well. I'll be doing this same thing next week when I get back into the states since I just found out my dealer won't get another until October.

I've got a hit! A WRBP 6-MT, Limited (includes auto-dimming mirror, rear bumper applique, and Zylon covering...). It's ~1.5 hrs away. They gave me a price of $29,285, and are open till 9pm.

Thoughts?

Honestly, WRBP wasn't my first choice, nor even my second, initially, but it has really been growing on me. I've never had a blue car, though blue was my favorite color for most of my life (now, I don't really have a preference). My past 5 cars have been black (2x), white (2x), and silver (1x). I was thinking that maybe I'd like to brighten things up a little bit.

The idea mentioned above of checking the dealer inventory has started working for me. I'm finding stock, and even some listings that have an icon to display that the car has arrived and is in transit (currently sitting at a port), which means it's probably a week or so away from making it to the dealer.

Mostly, I've just come up with a lot of vagueness...

I love the car and color in WRB. Is 29285 MSRP with all the stuff on it? If so go for it if you can afford it, if not keep looking.

I hit up Google and searched for Subaru dealers fanning out like everyone else till I found one with a BRZ in stock/in transit that was asking MSRP. Found one over in NM, so I'm going to fly over there and drive it back.

That frees up a order slot at Proctor Subaru in Tallahassee, FL for someone else to grab...

I had good luck with Cars.com, found one exactly how I wanted it in stock.

After contacting 4 dealers I found one that wasn't charging market adjustment and was exactly what I wanted. I'll let everyone know how the out of state experience goes, and how much fun my 14 hr drive home is, assuming everything works out beautifully

hah, I thought my 4 hour drive was a bit outrageous, you guys

I found mine through autotrader, called and got a price, went and bought it

There is still a Silver Premium 6MT in the Bronx for MSRP, surprised it hasn't sold yet lol

Multi Subaru in Union, NJ.

And to answer the question before, Yes, it was for the Limited version, which includes mostly everything.

Yes, I'm actually looking forward to the out of state experience and the drive home. Though, I can't say I feel like driving 14 hrs, at least not these days. However, I did it when I bought my last car; I flew out, and drove it home from Texas to NJ.

Enjoy!

Ideally, I'd like a SSM (sterling silver) 6-MT, Limited...

Back on the hunt.

Saw at least 1 on auto trader listed at Five Star Subaru in Oneonta NY. There are pages of listing so I'm sure you can find one.

I'm in the same boat as you, but in DE. I've got one pre-ordered, but I have no idea when its getting here. So if I can find one I'll jump on it.
