Anyone else receive these "subframe bushings?"

So like a lot of you here I like to modify my cars/bikes/etc to improve certain aspects. I was looking forward to installing subframe bushings a couple of days ago to see what effect they have. Just doing some minor changes to begin with as I've only had my BRZ a few months now, and am learning what I like and don't like about it. Taking care of a few things I want to do before I get an alignment.

What I ordered:

What I got:

Size: 115.3 KB

I already had the rear of the subframe pulled down before I took a good look in the bag. It was pretty obvious what I got was not designed to fit into the subframe properly. Subframe goes back up. Anyone else received these or actually installed them? I've already asked the ebay seller (well known company) for a refund and the manufacturer what they think of this. Placed an order for a different brand from a different seller.

I think it's kind of funny actually. At least I got a fun drive in the mountains yesterday. Subframe bushing impressions will have to wait though.

I think this is exactly why people consistently say not to buy eBay parts. I only purchase from licensed distributors or the parts manufacturers themselves.

I bought the whiteline rear subframe bushings and it was only about $40. how much was your ebay part? I understand people would want to save money so they go to eBay, but it's $40 for a legit set... not expensive at all. hopefully your seller takes care of you, and if they don't, paypal will cover you if you paid using it.

I haven't bought anything from ebay since 2009, why do people still go there?

I've had an overall good experience with eBay, although buying trusted brands from good sellers. It appears the seller may have made an honest mistake and is trying to fix the situation. I'd just hate for this to happen to someone else that's not too familiar with what they're doing and try to actually install them. The brand in question isn't Whiteline, although it's another reasonably known brand from one of their authorized sellers for similar pricing.

He said "well known company," you guys know whiteline, eibach, etc have ebay stores. Everyone has an ebay store. I have actually caught stuff on ebay cheaper than what certain places have it for on their website....and it is the same company, same parts.
