As far as Toyota badges on my Scion, I'd be fine with it. I happen to like the design of both badges, although I wish the Scion one didn't say Scion on it. I do like the Toyota design a little better. I've also thought about using a 3D printer and making replacement badges that are just the "86" drifting logo. Here's the examples: 1. Fenders under the hood (one on each side). In another thread there is info on the Toyota "service bulletin" to cover these up with a Toyota logo. 2. On the engine (this one is pretty well known) 3. On the bonnet/hood. Emissions plate 4. Data plate 5. VIN Plate in engine compartment, but matches the one on the bonnet, the trunk lid, the windshield and other places where there is a VIN plate. That wouldnt be such a bad idea. You'd have to make it oval though to fit in right. Would like to see how that'd end up. |

As far as my American opinion, do what you want. With three different brand versions of this car out, you can take your pick. Subbie owners are changing to toyota (rarely, though), Scion owners are changing to subbie or toyota, all over the place. I say go for the badge swap and be different. Anyone who rips on you just doesn't get it. |

@GaN-MaN at the end of the day its a toyota no matter what badge you put on, if you want a Subie badge why not order a BRZ instead? Same car just slightly different features. I got feeling the price difference wouldn't be too far off from Toyota GTS.
And re on the orange font, is like trying to read fluro yellow on,white paper. not trying to be hard on you man. Just say'n ...... |

Doing this is exactly the same as people who put Chev badges on Holdens. Don't be that guy.
