Decided to do away with the Spyder V2s for some Valentis.

By the way, I've searched and searched, but does someone know where I can find pictures of a hyperblue with STi sides/rears installed?

Mine! Dealer pre-installed I think STi side skirt really compliments the car.

Yes! Thank you. I'm debating on switching my CS sides for STi sides.

I would go for it, for me it really adds to the black/blue theme of the car.

Haha, we're all going to end up with the factory kit at this rate! I think I'll be picking one up eventually and then blacking out my roof. I do like the look of the C-West lip kit though. Decisions!

Stand by for smoked Valenti side markers tonight.

When I bought my Golf R, I had them get it all the way from Cary, NC when I lived in the DC area. It wasn't that bad, I had the option of picking it up or having their driver handle it for a small charge. You could probably have it shipped, too. Just saying you shouldn't abandon your options if it saves you money.
Just bugged them again today, they won't budge off the msrp price. I also got a quote back on a white one from a different dealership, which they gave me over 2k off msrp. I may just end up picking up a CWP.

Power washed my baby. Did not use the brush treatment! Had to get the salt off somehow.

I'm thinking about blacking out my roof also.
What would you be using? The 3M wrap?

Only thing I know of worth using really. Probably plain old gloss black. Considering doing the small strip on the trunk above the license plate, too. I'll probably Photoshop it first to make sure it doesn't look strange.

I forgot to take pictures of the side markers before I left town for travel. Oops.

Are you my long lost twin from Texas or something? I've had a set of LEDs in my Digikey cart for like two weeks now trying to decide if I could be bothered to actually go through with this.

My only questions for you is how scrape the needle paint, did it look okay after you did, and is the LED color okay for the car? Also curious if the LCDs for speedo and mileage etc look okay after.

Anyone know how to change the background image on the display in the headunit for start up? I've seen videos of people doing it on there 13s using the SD card slot but our HU only comes with USB & aux. Tried USB with a single image and nothing happened

I know man! You should totally do it, way easier than I expected. Spent ~4 hours yesterday working on it, but once you know how to remove all the trim it takes 15 mins.

The paint is only on the bottom of the needle so I just used a pocket knife and then an exacto knife to scrape it off, looked Ok afterward. Today I had to take it back out to re-adjust the needles and I painted the bottom of them white, it really helped bring out the blue. The pictures I posted have no white paint. I love the LED color, I'm really glad I did it white and blue, instead of all blue. The screens looks flawless, I was really concerned about how they worked but it turned out great. Below each screen is a piece of white plastic that disperses whatever color LEDs you use to the whole screen.

What about the LEDs under the redline/high temp areas? Are they red from the factory or is it an overlay or what? The white doesn't look weird during the day? My main concern is the blue will be a little too bright, I dunno, still on the fence lol. Interested in pics of the white painted needles day and night.
