I have to ask, if stay in the outer loop and just keep circling, going around the four small round-abouts, to you get ticketed if caught? I could see doing this several times in the middle of the night. Serious drift track...

These race stories are funny ,especially coming from some of the kids in here cus I was just like them . I'm not stupid enough to think my FRS can outrun 80% of the cars on the road. I've had fast cars and trust me this car ain't fast, but its fun and that's why I bought it. The cars I had wouldn't hold a candle to this thing on twisty roads but the cars I had would eat this one for lunch in a straight up race light to light. Straight liner cars are fun but they get old when you see they've reached their capabilities and all roads are not straight.

At the end of the day, sure some dude in a Maxima hauling 3 kids will beat my cars ass but at the end of the day, I'll have a smile on my face as I pull into my garage because that was one helluva fun drive!

It wouldn't really matter which way round you were going, drifting = dangerous driving which carries a driving ban, fine and license points (if they catch you!)

Well, I wasn't serious about the drifting part...You could have a really good time going around that outer circle without actually driving dangerously. Basically the equivalent of taking an off-ramp or twisty road faster than anyone else, but still within the legal limits (one of the reason I love this car).

On/off ramps are my friends!

Missed Connections

Anybody ever think this thread is like the missed connections pages on craigslist? I'm thinking that somebody might try to race us drivers so that they'll get a story written about them here.

Well, I just had some idiot in a beat-up late 90s Integra with a rusted and bondoed rear try to race me. The fucking toolbag cut off another person by illegally going straight in a right turn only lane (actually, he may have just cut him off by speeding past him in the same lane, which is also illegal).

I could hear his shitty stock exhaust with possibly cutout holes farting out the sounds of 7000 RPM. He caught up to me and looked at me with the intention of racing me. He had the face of "come race me bruh." In response, I just gave him a look of "Are you fucking kidding me?"

Too bad I had to make a left turn at the next intersection. I shook my head at him and thought of calling him an idiot and a ricer, but I simply paid no more attention to him and he peeled off with his shitty Integra with a left rear wheel that had more negative camber than the rest.

I don't get a lot of idiots trying to race me. I think this is the second time someone tried to directly challenge me.

Your profile picture matches my face to that story.

What I now do to people trying to antagonize me is blow kisses at them. It pisses them off to no end.

Just be carful what neighbourhood you do that in. You may end up with a date otherwise.

Piss em off with kindness. This works in multiple realms... try it online sometime.

I have had a few people try to race me... it is usually teenage looking newbs with beatup cars. I just cruise and look good while they look like fools then zoom, I am gone.

Funny story...bmw 5 series tried to get at me on a few twisty turns on local street. This lunatic thought it was okay to use half my fucking lane to make the turn. Half his car was in my lane. The next red I called him out that he's a fucking idiot and cannot stay in his own lane. BMW = DOUCHEBAGS
