JR system with high boost pulley was installed last week, will share the details later but I did want to address one concern. The pipe to the throttle body runs very close to the top of the supercharger pulley and even with the smaller pulley I have some rubbing issues if the assembly slides back even 1/4 inch. I have tightened the straps down as tight as possible and used a thick sticky felt spacer on the pipe that passes by the radiator fill tube which pushes the assembly away from the pulley.
A ny other ideas?

That's the first thing I saw as well and once it is seated properly on the TB the clearance is there. My concern is keeping it pushed all the way on. I may put another clamp on the TB end of the hose but it appears the spacer between the charge pipe and the radiator inlet is helping prevent the pipe from sliding back off the TB.

Wiggle things around a bit until its all positioned correctly. Then tighten everything. Voila, zero issues, and perfect installation. |

Also, as @CSG Mike said, it helps to loosen the nearby clamps and reposition the hose, making sure there is no tension pulling on it from the TB. Then tighten...

Hope you have enough material on the 45 degree silicone hose to work with. You should cut off the damaged area on the tubing as you shouldn't clamp past it. Just follow Moto/CSG Mike's tips and you should get a lot of clearance.
I had the same issue with mine before re-doing the piping. I ended up replacing the silicone tube as it got damaged...same with the hose clamp and pulley. I have about 3/8" clearance between the alternator-pipe-pulley now and have had zero issues over the past 700 miles or so. ![]()

I love how easy this kit can be installed and tuned without the need of visiting a garage, not to mention all the online support well done JR and everyone involved.
