Any Canadian BRZ purchasers get out of the admin fee?

I notice it's not listed on the Build & Price on the website but my dealer said there would be one. Anybody manage to get out of it?

Anything above Freight/PDI, air and tire tax is something the dealer itself is charging. Get more info about what those fees are and what they are for

^Same here...IMHO its a small price to pay considering the car is already 35k after tax im not going to fuss about $500 dollars....But there is one dealer that waived the admin and got free gas

See, I'd walk over that. The dealer may mandate that they do that to all their cars, but I say that's their problem. If I didn't ask for it, I don't want it and won't pay for it. They either eat it, order me a new car as I want it(see, I'd be willing to wait, but if you're not, then that's the price to pay to be one of the first to own this car), or I walk and give my business to another dealer that will sell me the car I want the way I want it. They are out there, I've dealt with them.

Wow, you guys are nice customers! I bought mine @ msrp and would have bitched big time if I saw any extra fees.

Pretty much the only one I visited... I'm still ending up paying more than you with a wooping 15% sales tax...

wow you must have a lot of excess income. $500 extra is a lot no matter how much your car is if you ask me. That's like a month's car payment right there.

Not true - I got MSRP + freight ($1595) + air tax ($100) and that's it in Richmond Hill Subaru. No reason why anyone should have to pay ridiculous "admin" fees.

what is that admin. fee? I thought the dealers only charge Freight fee & PDI ($1595) + Air tax ($100), and they are indicated in Subaru.ca site as well.
