Anyone have their nose pieces on their glasses so tight that it leaves red marks and indentions in your nose and you have to take them off periodically to rub your nose because the glasses are on so damn tight? My co worker does this and Im just thinking "cant you loosen them just a little?"

I actually looked at one in the summer. Was the wagon and was pretty nice but they wanted more for it than I was willing to pay for an unusual weekend cruiser.

This why I'm not a big NASCAR fan. I love "stock car" racing when the cars actually at least start off as a production car.


When a car is purpose built from the ground up to race around a track, and you put a Camry (or pick your favorite driver's car here) coat on it, you just became a poser to somehow get money from the manufacturers and the fans. At least call it what it is, don't pretend its something its not.

Originally went looking for a nice Dart or Duster but good ones are way to much money and not good ones are really, really not good! Decided to go the WTF route since I just want a weekend cruiser and was not worried about racing it. Looked at the Pinto, a Pacer and a Gremlin. At this point I am now focused on finding a Gremlin X but am coming up way short so may have to change my thoughts once again.

It's definately my money, just kinda went overboard with getting things for the car when I first go it.. I've barely had the car for 4 months, lol. She also was telling me that I should leave the car stock for a year and drive it that way, I believe I left it stock for a month and a half to 2 months before I started changing things.

you know, i don't disagree with her, leaving the car stock (ish) for a year is a great way to find out what you truly want out of it. other than a catback and sidemarkers, mine was stock for the first year.

Well in fairness the "retaliation" I was speaking of meant I couldn't complain when she bought something I thought was silly. Since I am been know to voice my opinion now and then that was a rough haul.

For a few years I casually thought about how cool it would be to restore a Pacer. Waynes World ruined that dream.
