When my brother was in Med School in Toronto in the early 70s, he had a friend that liked cars who used to drop into the local Porsche dealer to drool. They knew he was a med student and - someday - would have cash for a nice car, so they treated him reasonably well. One day, he took a day off and went in to the dealer and announced he had graduated, got a good job and could afford a 911 (he hadn't, he was still an intern). The sales guy went with him for a short drive. Then, he asked if he could take the car to show his wife (he wasn't married) and, for whatever reason, they let him take the car. The car must have belonged to one of the managers or something because it had a normal Ontario license plate, not one of those hang on dealer plates. Anyway, the guy took the 911 and drove over to the Jensen dealer. (I think Grand Touring used to import Jensens from the UK back then and they were a lot more expensive than the 911 at the time. For those too young to remember, the Interceptor was a 4 seat coupe with a 383CI Chrysler V8). He told the sales guy that he just bought this "Volkswagen" and didn't really like it - it was noisy. He took a test drive in an Interceptor then asked if he could take it home to show his wife. They said yes, so he drove it over to the hospital to show off to all his buddies (and presumably try to impress a few nurses). Then he reversed the process, dropping off both cars, and walked home. Nice day off.

I'm sure I could still make it work, you can send it anyways. On a completely unrelated note, does anyone have a shark-sized aquarium available? For, um... not shark stuff.

I don't want to go to work after what happened last night.
But these 120 hours of sick time must be preserved for the whole year. Wish they rolled over the 51 hours I had remaining from last year... |

Damn it I want you to come work for me! Had a guy a guy go home on Friday because "I think my dog might be getting sick". Not "is sick" just "might be getting".

I keep saying I'm lazy but I'm also a workaholic. There are so many people at my place who is exactly that that guy you described (at least in that context). They show up 3-4 hours late because "I'm tired" or "Had to pick up my kid from a friend's party". One guy barely works at all! I watch youtube and other shit but I still get work done when there's work to be had. If I was manager, I would've fired half the workers already. /rant
