Tutorial on BRZ Navigation?

  • Have owned a 2015 Blue BRZ Limited for about 48 hours.
  • Used Garmin GPS's for years.
  • Touch screen sure requires some pressure!

Anyone know of any videos or tutorial on how to load it up with some faves?

(One month from being 70, sold a garage queen 2013 Corvette and really love the BRZ!)

Thx-

I've heard that people had very good response contacting Beatsonic directly if that is who still makes the 15 BRZ head unit. It was mostly in regards to back up cameras but if you can't find anything else it might not be a bad place to start

Even Subaru gave up on it with the 2016 model. Good news though...the sound quality is still shit.

Like seriously...why even put an EQ in if it does next to nothing to change the actual audio quality?

Still not the oldest here by quite a bit. I am always surprised when I hear of guys in their 60s or even early 70s that don't know how to use computers. Sure I get they were not around when they were young (they were not when I was either) but where have these folks been for the last 20 years or so? How have they managed to get any work done?

New Technology is coming really fast time to time and sometimes we have to admit and learn it. his social security statement no longer be sent by paper mail now but electronic version which is e-mail or access through IRS.

I also feel kinda sad these elementry kids don't write as much as i did.
they're using ipad, computer to type. not all of them but there will be few kids don't know how to write. asking "where is device i need to type?" lol

My 80 year old mother is more active on the computer that I am. She is a member of several knitting and card playing forums and is on Facebook pretty much 24/7.

My father thought it was just for porn and ordering tractor parts (he didn't have a tractor). I bet I had to go over and fix his computer 20 times since he would turn off the antivirus when it wouldn't let him go on sites. He was always very baffled where all the porn spam came from and it was always "your damn mother and her card playing" that was the cause.

If you're interested I've posted a few threads about using some little-known features and upgrading your factory maps for free. They're definitely good information to have on the stock head unit. These should all work for the 2015 model as well.
