Cool, thanks for the definitive answer.

For me personally, I'd switch to 5W30 for a track day, but in daily driving I rarely see my oil temps above 220F.
I had that thread subscribed, but didn't read it. I'll take a look.

Man, I've got to reorganize my subscriptions.

You guys have the autobahn, so I believe it.

My daily commute is mostly at 25 MPH or slower.

Autobahn yeah but the toyobaru is not a good autobahn car.

Most time @ 100mp/h on cruise control.

You go faster: it's noisy, harsch, the hood does wiggle wiggle wiggle, very high miles per gallon and so on

The recipe calls for orange zest. There's a trick to that which is worth sharing.
Whenever you need zest from oranges, lemons or limes; use a microplane zester and shift your fruit for each stroke. That way you get only the good stuff and none of the bitter stuff underneath the zest.
I'm very happy with my zester, it looks like this:

Let me know if you try the recipe, I think it looks good too!

I've traversed Germany in my GT86 a few times, and the first time I noticed the hood flapping a bit at high speed (Don't remember exactly, over 180 km/h or something).
I fixed it by adjusting the rubber supports. They were set way too low on my car.

I agree with the noise and the consumption, but I must say the car feels surprisingly stable even at 230+ km/h.
But it's definitely not an Autobahn car, no. Lots of fun on the Nordschleife though.

Got to trim my cats nails. Sounds like there is some chick in high heels (or @go_a_way1 in his old shoes) walking around up stairs.
