The difference between the different Exhaust tunes

There is a difference. An open exhaust has a much stronger scavenging effect, especially with the ESC running. The charge can be blown right through with enough overlap at the right time, since the Port Injection is active at low speeds. The OEM header will give you more torque down low, because the back pressure won't allow as much blow-through, but it quickly becomes a restriction above 4000 rpms.
Tunes written for open exhaust and catted headers are different in the AVCS tables. OEM header tunes have much more overlap to take advantage of the back-pressure, while those written for open exhausts have much less Exhaust retard, to prevent blow-through. The difference is audible. You can hear when there is more retard, because it gets much louder.
All my tunes have a bit too much retard for an open exhaust. They are loud when you open them up, but quiet down when just cruising. I usually tune for the limit, when power starts to fall off from over-scavenging. This means they will still perform well in more restrictive exhaust setups.

I am almost done installing esc and wondering these are correct fitment. I think i am ok with it but wanted to make sure

I didnt have enough time to finish it today but i will tomorrow morning.
I spent most of my time drilling that intake resonator. also make wires to go through driver to passenger side from center console.
also throttle switch wires barely made to controller!! hope Rob can make wires little longer for future customers.

It's pretty straight forward installation even you don't watch DIY video but it helps a lot.
I will post some DIY pictures and post when i finish it tomorrow.

Can you bring it just a bit closer to the throttle body? My metal connector sleeve doesn't show at all, and the whole thing is about .25" closer to the throttle body. Just my .02.

I concur. Also rotate the snail about 5-10 degrees clockwise.

Down to 1.6psi by 7k rpm lol, the initial boost is okay for what it is, but not being able to provide any at high RPM is a drag.

Just curious after reading a small amount in this post, how do these battery packs stay charged?

If not by alternator, maybe an aftermarket "beefier" alternator needs to be made to charge the original battery, plus have connections to keep the additional battery pack charged. Logic or nah? Never messed with electric boost, only real blowers so far (which I'll 99.9% likely stay with lol, just interested in the facts).

Load your snow tunes and get ready to snow-drift!

After 2 years of non-winters, we finally have SNOW! I bought taller, wider tires to get better grip in the rain. Now I'll get to see how they do in the snow. I've always loved sliding in the snow, ever since I first learned to drive. That's the most important reason to get rear-wheel-drive.
