Fun roads in the Phoenix area

Are there any touges or just fun roads to drive around Phoenix? Mainly around the Sunrise area.
I'm heading out there for Christmas to visit my family and I'm planning on taking my FRS. It's too new to track(just broke 100 miles on my way to work this morning)

Cool Tortilla Flat

I just took a drive to Tortilla flat. Nice windy road, but not in the best condition. With my FRS, I feel every little crack in the road, but a fun drive nevertheless

Well crap, I wish I would have seen this whole I was out there. Hopefully I'll remember when I go out for mothers day.
I'm used to my miata that's set up for the race track, at least suspension wise, the FRS feels so cooshy compared lol.

Just track the car. I autocrossed mine less than 12 hours after purchase and the motor pulls harder than any other twin I've been in.

Been awhile since I did Tortilla Flats but once you're past Tortilla Flats the road condition is smooth and pristine. If you're in Sunrise though it's a pretty long drive to get there for how short that road is (it eventually becomes an unpaved single lane road).

I highly recommend the 89A from Prescott to Jerome. Unlike Tortilla Flats, Jerome is actually a pretty cool town to visit, and the twisty section is much longer.
