What advantage is there to copying over an MT throttle map to the AT throttle map? Is it only really useful if running e85 or if you want a linear throttle?

I don't use the MT throttle on petrol.

For E85, try both and go with the one you like more.

I'm finding MT throttle on a petrol tune to be really nice on snow days here. The more linear response down low makes it a lot easier to ease into a green light without fishtailing.

I have the MT throttle on a 91 tune. It's really, really good. Definitely a noticeable difference

Did you just copy over the throttle map B from any other manual rom and just go with it? Can you describe how it feels, does it bog down at all?

Look for the specific table in @Wayno instructions. Doesn't bog

I couldn't find the specific table in the roms, and manually entering in will take some time

It does take time and is sort of a bitch but worth it IMHO

Understood, all the ones in the main post seemed to only have the stock throttle mapping So far I've edited my tune to quiet cold idle, have only DI at cold start idle, earlier radiator fan activation to prevent heatsoak, and I edited in a soft rev limit and now this throttle mapping it's surprisingly easy and gratifying

Throttle map will absolutely ZERO effect on engine bogging.

It will however effect the requested torque value after shifting.

AT has a steeper throttle map because of wider gear ratios.

Therefore, if you change to the MT map, you'll have a lower requested torque and feel slower after shifting. It doesn't matter so much on E85 as it's got more power.
