interesting fact:
2016 gained 9 lb from 2013
2016 test 0-60 mph for 6.8s and 2013 6.4s

Some of that 9 pounds is the under-body panels, which are now standard.

Was hoping for more info...but interesting on the weight gain. I wonder if the .4 seconds was due to conditions at the time of testing, or a difference in skills of the testers.

Haha the 2013 lightweight model is the FR-S. 9lbs is nothing. The 0-60 time is probably within noise too.

I'm staring at my panels right now, maybe...I shouldn't install them.

Also, 9lbs, that's like 2 rear seats, and empty out the glove box.

Never mind the fact that we add over nine pounds in aftermarket goodies to the car...

Honestly 9 pounds doesn't mean much. 900 pounds...then you're talking some serious bloat.
