Motor Trend 2016 Hyperblue long term test
interesting fact:
2016 gained 9 lb from 2013 2016 test 0-60 mph for 6.8s and 2013 6.4s http://www.motortrend.com/news/2016-...A9C849BD53C554 |
Some of that 9 pounds is the under-body panels, which are now standard.
Was hoping for more info...but interesting on the weight gain. I wonder if the .4 seconds was due to conditions at the time of testing, or a difference in skills of the testers.
and the back up camera assembly.
9 lbs really isn't that much..... Don't eat a cheeseburger on track day.
2013 models just went up in value
HyperBlue value just went down.

I'm glad I went with the '13 lightweight model, instead of holding out for a '16.
Haha the 2013 lightweight model is the FR-S. 9lbs is nothing. The 0-60 time is probably within noise too.
I'm staring at my panels right now, maybe...I shouldn't install them.
Also, 9lbs, that's like 2 rear seats, and empty out the glove box. |

Never mind the fact that we add over nine pounds in aftermarket goodies to the car... Honestly 9 pounds doesn't mean much. 900 pounds...then you're talking some serious bloat. |
Love all the haters in the comments section of that site...jeeze people on the internet are bitter :bellyroll:
Honestly don't mind about the value of my HyperBlue that much as I'm planning to keep it for a good while and sentimental value is really good for me :)
