17x7.5 inch RPF1s were part of my equation anyway (approx -2kgs over stock 17 inch rims). For me all that cosmetic stuff in the GTS is a waste of money.

If you are going to do a brake upgrade. Sell a kidney on the black market and get the trd brake kit I really want red calipers. Not painting them though... Upgrade down the track once sc or turbo is bolted on.
Spending 10k on a cosmetic item is not my style. Plus getting an engineer's certificate is tedious.

I agree with the RE002's. I put a set of these on my MX5 and the grip is fantastic on the track and on the road. They also feel good in the wet. Price wise they're pretty good too. The 205/40R17 for the MX were just over $200 a corner.

It's your car and all but WTF would you do that? You will kill all manner of steering response, weigh down the car with unsprung weight and not necessarily improve handling or grip.

While I haven't measured them, everything I've read in the press, Toyota documents and training says the brakes are roughly one inch larger on the front, 10mm larger on the rear and vented rear too.

They are lightweight work cr kai, plus ive already got a gtx3071r and new haltech platinum, also waiting on an email from cp carrillo on when i can get a set of pistons and rods as they are doing the final touches for the fa20.
