Today , i reset the computer and headed on the fWY for 100 miles --- roundtrip. When i got back home... the computer said 43.1MPG.....
yes, 43+ at an old man pace of 65mph, and very easy on the Automatic/RPM's...... Holy crap ! When i was driving around town -- my first 80 miles, it was averaging about 29 also, but i was taking off and hitting the rpms' a bit more in town.. just cant resist.. but never over 4000RpM.... |

Finally finished my first tank and the trip computer showed 26.0 mpg and the math worked out to be 26.17 (283 miles, 10.811 gallons). Mine is a manual and it's been mostly mixed driving. I've gotten up to 4k RPM's a few times but not over, well maybe 4100-4200, but not 6-7k.
Looking forward to getting to 1,000 miles to let this bad boy sing! Ruskymx |

I'm in Philly, constant stop and go city driving, a lot of idling waiting for cabs and such... 21 mpg first tank. MT, shifting around 37-3800, etc
But, OH MY GOD I CAN'T WAIT TO HIT 1K! I want to get out on I95 and stomp on it so bad every time I get in!!!! |

23ish for mine. DC-area typical stop and go. Only went over 55 once, on I95N.

Got through my first tank yesterday. Went through 11.49 gallons in 285 miles. So roughly 24.8mpg. This was about 1/3 city, 2/3 highway.

Fifth Fillup: 1653.4 Miles Driven 31.92MPG
Details here. I'm discovering that my commuting miles (total of about 80 miles a day) include more highway speeds (>45MPH) than I thought now that I'm paying closer attention. Still a lot of stop and go in those number though. |

Haha
Try converting to e85. My rig has a turbo and e85 for fuel. Mileage in town is in the 10-11mpg range. Highway maybe 19mpg. This thing screams like a banshee. 420hp to the wheel. |
