You don't need to tell me poke and what it means... I brought that up because there is no consensus for what constitutes "poke".

Everyone has their own opinion about it. What you defined is completely different than what I would define as poke.

And to reference your post, I had 18x10" and the rears rubbed on the fender because of lack of aggressive camber. The fronts had zero issues with 255 tires. Both these contradict what your setup was.

Tire type matters too, since sidewall design varies.

How much Camber did you have to run to clear?

What is a consensus on offset for the 10" rims? +40 all around or would it help to be different front/rear?

As long as you're around +38 ( Ideally higher... +40 or so) they'll be fine with coils, some tire stretch, and appropriate camber. I run 18x10 +38 with 245/40 tires all around, about 2.5 degrees rear and 1.2 in the front. There's probably 3/8"-1/2" of poke up front. A bit less in the rear. I'm not slammed, about 1/2" from the top of the tire to the top of the arc of the fenders, measured vertically.

So I was thinking going 255 on my setup. 18x10 40 on my ZE40s. How is 245 treating you? im kinda torn on 245vs255

You could probably run 255 in the rear, but if you plan to tuck up front at all that is probably too wide, even with a more aggressive roll and pull. Camber can correct for this, but that's a personal taste thing usually. You should check the meaty tire thread here on the forums, lots of discussion about what tire widths fit well.

TL;DR: I think 245 is a really excellent fit, but I like the stretched look. I think 255 will be a really tight fit if you are planning for some tuck.

@86Hiro That's going to be intense! Be a hero!
