Finally grew up.

I haven't really posted much on here in a while. Before I go any further here is how my car looked previously:

I was very immature and only focused on the looks of the car rather than the functionality of it. Living in NC and being about 1.5 hours away from the NC mountains that had to change. So I put everything back to stock, with the exception of Eibach Springs. After I changed everything back I had to deal with a lot of issues from being so low. I had to replace EVERY SINGLE plastic piece up and under the car, the fender liners, and I had to get my front bumper fixed back up due to all the cracks. After that my clutch went out because of the TOB. This all happened within 3 months. I just got my car back from Toyota with a brand new clutch and a lightened flywheel. Yesterday I took it up to the mountains to really break in the new clutch. A really good friend of mine graduated from App State so I had to go see her ceremony anyways so it seemed like a good idea to take it around the parkway. The weather was amazing with highs in the upper 60's. Very strange for the middle of December.

These are just a few photos I snapped while on campus at App. They have a couple of tunnels full of graffiti, it's really cool.

And here's the photos from the parkway and how my car looks now.

All in all, I had a great time really finding out what this car can do. I don't think I've ever had that much fun before. Lesson learned, I'll never "slam" a car again. It's not worth it. At all.

I'm going the same route. Been enjoying the car much more, now that I'm not 4.5 or so inches lower than stock

Track prepped never goes out of style......see signature. lol. Those roads looks awesome. Once you get some sticky tires the car comes alive.

Truth. I love the look of a car covered in brake dust and marbles.

I'm kind of fond of the stock tires, the rear end breaks loose easier

Don't get me wrong, it was fun for the time being, just not worth the cost in the end. It's one of those "do it once, never again" type things.

I feel that. At some point, I need to get a respray done on my bumper replace a bunch of the underpanels and all the pop-clips along with it. Not to mention all the premature wear I put on a bunch of parts.

I always felt that yours was one of the more tastefully "slammed" cars on here and actually liked the looks of it before (have said that a few times I think). If mine was a weekend toy only I probably would do something similar to what you had in this pic.
That being said there is a lot to be said in favour of the stock/near stock setup most of that DD them have as well.
